The Rivet Index is a free, independent, public data registry for robots. We catalog verified specifications, pricing, sourcing, and lineage information for commercially available and publicly documented robots, presented as a neutral reference. Each record assigns a permanent identifier and cites its sources. The Site is an informational reference resource. It is not a marketplace, a sales channel, or a broker. We do not sell, lease, or facilitate the sale of any robot.

The Rivet Index is an independent record. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to any robot manufacturer, brand, distributor, or company referenced on the Site. All manufacturer names, product names, model names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used solely for identification, reference, and commentary. Their appearance in the index does not imply any partnership, endorsement, or relationship.

The information on The Rivet Index is provided for general informational and reference purposes only. It does not constitute financial, investment, purchasing, legal, engineering, safety, or professional advice of any kind, and it should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any purchasing, investment, or business decision.

Specifications, prices, and other figures in the index are drawn from third-party sources and may change, vary by configuration or region, be estimates or projections where noted, or contain errors or omissions. The Site's original content, including its design, structure, written commentary, editorial standards, identifier system, database organization, branding, and the compilation and arrangement of its data, is the property of RL Calculations, LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Individual facts and specifications are drawn from third-party sources and are attributed accordingly; we claim no ownership of the underlying facts or of any third-party trademarks. You may reference and link to the Site freely. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit our compiled database or original content without prior written permission.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RL Calculations, LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your reliance on any information obtained from the Site.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; if we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date above. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall first be addressed through good-faith communication. If it cannot be resolved, it shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maryland, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining Terms will stay in full force. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and RL Calculations, LLC regarding the Site.
